Hello everyone! I generally know how Steam works with launching games and stuff, but ETS 2 is being kinda screwy. What happens when I launch it (either by Desktop shortcut or from Steam) is well, nothing, really. The 'Preparing to launch game' window just keeps popping up and disappearing. Yes, I know that 1st game launches on Steam require a bit of time, but what I just described is Hey guys, when i press the play button on steam to play ETS2 it shows up the box that says "Prepare for launching ETS2" then nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Open the game and see if this time it loads and asks you to make a new profile. Make the profile, test to see everything works. Then try to delete the new profile folder and replace it with your old profile folder (with copy/paste). See if that works. #4.

Can someone pls help me. My Game doent load if I launch it my screen just becomes black and the game dosen't load. Please answer me. I have tried everything but no sucess.

Go to ‘3D Settings’ > Select ‘Manage 3D settings’ in the Nvidia Control Panel interface. Select ‘Program Settings’ > Click on ‘Add’ and select ‘Euro Truck Simulator 2’ from the list of programs on your PC. If the game application isn’t listed, click ‘Browse’ and head over to the installed Euro Truck Simulator 2
Jul 6, 2013. #1. I'm having trouble getting Euro Truck Simulator 2 to work on my Windows 8 laptop. When i click the program in the start menu this is all i get. The program appears in the taskbar but pressing the icon does nothing. Task manager shows that the program is running, so i guess the problem is that the game simply won't display.
