The advantage is that you don't have to get under the car, or remove any under trays or jack up the car. Disadvantage in my view is you don't get every last drop of oil out, but believe me you do get most of it. When I bought the unit I went to Sealey and priced it at £82.00 and on ebay £40 inc postage.

Joking aside. Prior to my current Cee'd hatchback, I owned a 2011 (60 plate) Cee'd 1.6 CRDI 3 SW and in the 5 years that I owned it, it never missed a beat. With regard to problem number 7 on your list, have you had the glow plugs tested? Hard starting when cold is often an indicator that one of the glow plugs is not doing it's job.

I do have power and washer fluid when the rear washer is depressed but no fluid and no sound of the pump working for the front washers. I've disconnected part of the pipe just to check if fluid is getting through, but nothing.
