Better battery life, not having to inject payloads… it’s just better. If you’re going to buy a pre-modded v2 you might as well save up and get a modded OLED. The only time I’d recommend modding a v2 or lite is if you already have one. Having to reinject for the v1 is not a big issue if you plan around it.

The layout must also have MX spacing to allow fitting of the MX caps on the v2. I have designed such a board, the Corne DC (not for sale). In my opinion, the v1 brown switches are superior to the v2 brown switches. You might also look at the v1 Burnt Orange switches if you want a heavier feel.

The Nintendo Switch V2 is a direct upgrade over the V1, so there’s no real contest there unless you can find a V1 at a significantly reduced price. Meanwhile, if you’re willing to spend a bit more, the OLED version throws in a much better display and extra internal memory.

I prefer to upgrade my V1 switch to a OLED. By the way, when I update to 13.0.0 and saw the "dock update" I immediately thought about this gadget. Nobody take one in hands and open it yet.
The only one I didn’t have was Affinity publisher for iPad as that product didn’t exist until this announcement being the V2 only version. So apart from the exception of V2 publisher, is there a full comparison table of features available that compares V1 and V2 (even if it’s just comparing the desktop apps?) something written as I wasn
