21091 posts Ā· Joined 2009. #7 Ā· Mar 4, 2018. Thanks, I've suspected oil vapors that a catch can removes may build up in the 5.7 throttle body, but dunno. So many production variables. I kinda suspect the oil based K&Ns may also contribute as they don't filter that well until used a bit.
